Green Smoothie Tutorial Video!!

Things to get a little crazy around here on a daily basis, and I find myself falling farther and farther behind on certain things.

No, I’m not talking about how often I miss showers or don’t shave my legs…You guys already know I rarely do those things.

It seems as if I have been doing a not so good job on updating this blog on necessary things…like that recipe page!

Which, I am happy to say is completely updated!! Woo Hoo!

I’ve also fallen really behind on emails, so if you have emailed me and really hate me…I understand.

But tonight I am planningΒ on answering and replying to all my emails. Do you still love me?

I’ve also finally put a YouTube icon on my page. And although it’s not the same size or color as my other ones…well…Baby steps my friends.

As for that RSS feed button…Well, I’m still working on it. I really am unintelligent when it comes to this whole computer/web blog thingy.

I did manage to film a video tutorial on how to make a Green Smoothie, using a regular blender!!

A few warnings before you watch this video:

1. Baby Boo does not match. Like…at all.

2. My face looks really pale. I promise I’m not sick.

3. My voice is annoying…sorry.

Ok, I hope you guys enjoy the video!

Thanks for watching! Have a great start to your week!!

  2. Rivers was cracking up watching Baby Boo and was talking back to her on the screen- so cute! They need to be friends. Where do you buy your kale? The only kale (organic) I can ever find is so course and I always have big chunks in my smoothies, which makes me gag. Thanks for the video! It was fun to see you two:)

    • Awe She loves Rivers videos too! She saw the choo choo train one and was repeating what he was saying!
I buy my kale just at the grocery store, sometimes vons/ralphs/ and we have one called sprouts. Sometimes if I am lucky I can find kale in a container already cut up like spinach, but usually I just buy a bunch. If you buy the curly kale, it’s pretty tough so it’s harder to blend. There are a few different kind of kale, and the ones with the really curly leaves are the toughest. Hope that helped! Miss you guys!

  12. Omg. Baby Boo is adorable and FUNNY!!! It’s midnight I have to wake up to work at 6am, but couldn’t stop watching the video. I’m all ready hooked on green smoothies… But just found out one awesome thing about kale! Tnx for the awesome video. Defenetly showing it to my girls:) lol

  13. I love green smoothies too! My recipe is: Spinach or Kale, one banana, 5 or 6 pitted dates, one whole grapefruit, 4-5 strawberries, 1/4 cup blueberries, 10 oz almond milk, 2-3 teaspoons flax seed, nuts if you like them, I usually use raw almonds, (small hand full). When blended, it is a little chewy, so probably not good for little guys, but sweet all on it’s own….and sooooo yummy! I use a Nutra-Bullet….love it so much I bought one for each daughter, my mom, my sister-in-law and both nephews. You can get them at Target and the powerful motor really does the nuts great! Thanks again for the cute video!!!
