Ever since moving away from California, we haven’t really played in the sand. (Unless you consider the Desert Sand mixed with rocks, then yes. Every day.) We miss it so much, and we will be calling this our home for the next week! This couldn’t have come at a better time with our busy and crazy lifestyle. Sometimes we just need to take time and relax…And drink milkshakes.

Have you ever been to New Port Beach, California? What are your favorite activities? More importantly, where are the best places to EAT? 🙂 We did the Crab Cooker, which was an old family favorite, but I would love to hear more of your ideas!

  1. oooh I”m all the way back east again but when we lived in New Mexico we would go to NewPort Beach for our summer family vacations. Oh that was fun; this year tho we went to Maine, which is where we’re from. So we loved Wahoos fish tacos. Check them out and there’s Sharkies which also has yummy fish tacos. Have fun!

Visited Newport this summer and LOVED IT! (Texas natives)
Sprinkles! I know the cupcake fad is almost played out (Thank God!) but Sprinkles is definitely the finest example of why gourmet cupcakes became popular in the first place.
If you like over the top, try Saddle Ranch. Their tower of cotton candy and smores by the campfire make it worth your while.

  3. Mi Casa- Mexican in Costa Mesa
Stonefire- BBQ Chpped Salad I could eat every single day! There’s one in Irvine and one in Fountain Valley.
    Brueggers Bagels- on PCH
Alessa- there is one in Laguna Beach, and I’m pretty sure there is one on PCH in Newport and one in Huntington Beach on Main St. Yummy butternut squash ravioli!
