Morning Metabolism Booster Drink-Plus Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar

Most of my mornings begin the day before.

Usually around 11:30 p.m. I hear a faint cute little cry coming from Sweet Pea’s bedroom.

Just Kidding.

It’s the loudest ‘I’m totally pissed off mom, you better come and get me right now’ kind of scream. It’s usually about the time my head hits the pillow and I close my eyes when this comes about.

It’s lovely.

Since I’m neither a coffee drinker, soda sipper, or Monster Energy drink consumer, I needed something that would make me feel like a SuperStar! Of coarse a nice tug of my long hair and a drizzle of baby drool on my face at 5:30 a.m. is one way to get me out of bed quickly…But let’s not go there shall we?

Consuming 1 Tablespoon a day of Apple Cider Vinegar is a great way to kick start amazing health benefits. If you are like me, you may have noticed the vinegar by itself is well…not very tasty! So here is a great way to get in that ACV, along with a zing from a little bubbly to wake those tired eyes right up!

Oh, and if you don’t share with a certain someone you are most likely to hear more loud & angry shrieks followed by the entire house being awake at that awful hour. This makes for a such a pleasant morning…

  1. I drink apple cider vinegar at least twice a day. What’s weird is that I don’t mind the taste of it anymore… I know, disgusting that I admit that. 🙂 I’m sure this drink would really help get it down. It looks tasty! I can’t live without the stuff. It is also a great natural face toner. I use it every night after washing my face. Beautiful pictures of your baby!

  3. In your recipe, it only lists raspberries in the ingredients, are you using both raspberries and strawberries, or can you use one or the other? Otherwise it looks like a wonderful idea!

  4. Nice, thanks for sharing, always looking for a better way to get that vinegar down, and then the next thing to add would be some CPTG Essential Oil to make it super duper awesome.

    I totally believe in the positive healing properties of Vinegar and Apple Cider Vinegar!!!
    I love drinking ACV in Dr. Oz’s Swimsuit Slim down! Drink 1 cup before every meal and watch the numbers on the scale decrease! It really does work! I’ve slacked off from drinking it and now I have that 5 lbs of bloat… 🙁 time to bust out that concoction again!!! 🙂
    ~ 1 cup of Grapefruit Juice (I use Laura Lynn (Ingles brand) Not from Concentrate Premium Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice)
    ~ 2 tsp ACV
    ~ 1 tsp Honey (this is optional if the ACV is too strong for you) (I used honey in the beginning, but no longer need the sweetness because I’m used to the tart taste now.) 🙂

  12. I normally a protein smoothy in the morning using ingredients similar to these but without the ACV. I think I will try this and add the protein to it. Do you think that would be okay? By the way, Sweet Pea has the most gorgeous eyes I have see on a baby in a very long time. She is a beauty!

      I’m not sure how well protein would do in this, it might clump up some and react different to the carbonated water. BUt, it doesn’t always hurt to try!
      And thank you, I just love Sweet Pea’s eyes! I’m so jealous haha!
