Carrot Cream Green Drink

Ok so I have been working hard at fixin’ up the bloggy and it’s little kinks. It’s a work in progress, but if your interested, you can see what I’ve done so far.

There is now an FAQ page. Any questions that have ever been asked about the blog, types of ingredients that you want to know more about, and even awesome documentary trailers you might be interested in. I’m beginning to think Baby Boo is not related to me…

She doesn’t love food.

You see, when she was first born, she was…how do I put this…

A Milkaholic.

I spent 90% of my day sitting on the couch breastfeeding…

while watching housewives.

This, I may not be proud of, but I thought you would like to know.

Anyways, long story short, Pig Baby Boo has turned into Bird Baby Boo.

She likes BaBa’s..

She likes to eat toys…

BaBa lids are totally delicious…

But really the only “food” she prefers to eat are…

Lemons.

I have tried rice cereal, oatmeal cereal, sweet potatoes, bananas, apples…yada yada yada…

None..

Maybe she’s a picky eater like your DaDa, because we all know MaMa will practically eat anything that isn’t tied down.

Or food thats green like grass.

Like Green Drinks. I could drink Green drinks with every meal.

Well I have some variations for you.

Variation #1: Peanut Butter Green Dream

Take the original Green Drink and add 1 TB of Peanut Butter for a protein kick!

Variation #2: Coco Loco Green Drink

Take the original Green Drink and sub Milk for Coconut Milk. You can still do this with Variation 1 as well.

Variation #3: Creamsicle Green Drink

Combo of fresh OJ and frozen peaches. For the recipe, click HERE.

Variation #4: Carrot Cream (adapted from ohsheglows)


Ingredients:

1 1/4 cup coconut milk

1 frozen banana chopped

1 large carrot peeled and chopped

1 1/2 cups fresh spinach

2 tsp. agave (optional)

ice

dash of cinnamon

dash of nutmeg

Vanilla protein powder (optional)

Directions:

Blend all together in a high speed blender until creamy. You will need a good blender to do the job since the carrot will be hard to puree. The drink should have no chunks in it.

*Note* You may be able to sub carrot puree, but I am not totally sure. I haven’t tried this.

This is my new favorite green drink. I Love the coconut milk in it. It doesn’t give it a coconut flavor, but makes it creamy =]

Now if you will excuse me, I’ve got to try and disguise Baby Boo’s sweet potatoes into looking like a BaBa..or a computer cord…or a door stopper..

because apparently those taste much better.
